How to Build Teams that Achieve the Extraordinary
Leadership is not a skill you possess, it’s a relationship you build every day with your team. After developing teams from 4 to 22 people, training 11 managers who are now in leadership positions, and maintaining a 92% retention rate over 5 years, I’ve understood a fundamental truth: extraordinary results come from the rigorous application of proven principles.
My approach is based on two complementary frameworks – Kouzes & Posner’s Leadership Challenge and Situational Leadership – which I adapt to each team context. Because there is no universal solution in leadership, but there are universal principles to apply in a personalized manner.
Leadership as a transformative relationship
“Leadership is a relationship between those who aspire to lead and those who choose to follow.” This conviction guides my daily practice. I don’t see leadership as a title or a set of skills, but as a relationship of trust that, when properly cultivated, transforms both the individual and the organization.

The Leadership Challenge
Exemplary leadership practices Based on Kouzes & Posner’s research, I apply five fundamental practices that transform ordinary managers into extraordinary leaders: Model the Way, Inspire a Shared Vision, Challenge the Process, Enable Others to Act, and Encourage the Heart.
-
Situational Leadership
Adaptive leadership
After my training at INSEAD, I apply this method that adapts leadership style according to the development level of each team member – from Directive to Delegative, through Coaching and Supporting.

A capable team
“Leadership is a relationship. Results are the consequence.”
Application and results
“No member of my team wakes up in the morning with the intention of doing their job poorly.” This conviction guides my approach: identify where each person stands in their development and provide the appropriate level of support.
Situational Leadership: Adapting your style to each person
The method in brief
Developed by Ken Blanchard, this approach teaches how to adapt your management style according to each collaborator’s development level:
- Directing > Coaching > Supporting > Delegating
- Assess each person’s skills AND motivation
- Adjust the balance between directive and support
